In our experience, sound and screens are the first things to go wrong at office parties and most corporate events (mics cutting out as the CEO takes the stage, screens that are too small for the back of the room, an inexplicable inability to connect to the projector five minutes before the time runs out). This page goes over the AV equipment that we hire, how we set it up, and how it can work in conjunction with our event photography.
Wedding photography
The most important part of wedding photography is capturing the emotions and the story of the day. Our styles and processes depend on the couple and their individuality. Our aim is to help capture memories so that you can cherish and relive them for years and years to come.

AV for Office and Christmas Parties
At the very least, most office parties require the ability to play background music via a PA system, have a DJ or play pre-recorded music, and have a microphone for speeches. Many also require the ability to project a slideshow or a fun “highlights of the year” video. Our most popular services for corporate events include AV for lecterns, platforms or stages, and sound systems. Some clients also need larger conference rooms outfitted with multiple screens, or the ability to record or stream their events for remote audiences.
FAQs
Do you provide a technician on-site during the event?
Beyond very simple setups, the industry practice is that clients pay a fee for on-site tech support, and with good reason. Screens and stages, and especially multi-source setups that include music, speeches, or video, all benefit from on-site tech support to manage handovers and trouble shoot during the event.
How far in advance should we book, especially in December?
AV equipment and tech get booked well in advance especially during peak party season, so confirming your requirements gets you the right equipment and support.
Can AV hire be booked alongside photography for the same event?
Yes – see Office & Christmas party photography and Event photography services.
What would happen if equipment fails during the event?
With AV hire, it would mean having backup units and having a contact person on site means the likelihood of being able to quickly address the issue and avoid disruption to the schedule is high. One should confirm what alternate arrangements, if any, are in place, before the event.
